My interest in personal sites and domains sprouted from working on guild layouts on Neopets back in 2003. I’ve had a number of sites, most with embarrassing domain names, none of which had any sort of longevity. I seem to always have a blog, always hate what I write, and always leave it for dead. Sara.ph (via dotPH, of course of course) was registered somewhen in 2007 and I don’t intend on letting it go. I can’t escape my own name, after all.
Subsequently, I’ve jumped a lot of webhosts too. Most were sub-par. By now, the past ones are so dated that they look dead and I’m not going to bother mentioning them because I don’t think they should be considered.
Surpass Hosting: I was with Surpass for the longest period of time and have no complaints. There was a time or two when I experienced downtime but there was never anything so drastic that would make me unhappy with their service. Their support was always friendly towards me and I was even offered a loyalty discount when I wanted to move hosts. The only reason I moved hosts is because I felt like I was not utilizing all the features offered to me at the price I had to pay.
Enotch Networks is indisputably the worst webhost I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Full review here.
Sara.ph is hosted by Autumn Networks. I am very happy where I am now
